Traditional Martial Arts are practiced in the Taekwondo style, for ages 7 through adult.

At the Clear Creek – Gilpin Academy of Martial Arts

New and drop-in students of all ages are always welcome. Wear comfortable exercise clothes! You will learn forms and techniques passed down through the generations from Karate and classic Kung Fu, and how to apply these techniques for modern practical benefits, such as:

Flexibility and Balance.
Cardio and Weight Loss.
Hand to Hand Self-defense.
Self-defense Against Weapons.
Anti-Bullying, Self-Confidence, and Respect for Others.
Participation in Sporting Events Such as Tournaments and Sparring.
Martial Arts Weapons Training with Bo, Tonfa, Kama, Sai, Cane, Fan, & Sword.

The individual attention you receive at our small classes is balanced by our large group events, where we come together with all five schools of the Mountain Academy of Martial Arts for promotion testing, tournaments, and demonstrations. #mamatkd

Classes are taught by two 5th degree Black Belts in Taekwondo, and are offered throughout the week to accommodate busy schedules.
